Hello everyone
Confident yet humble & grounded man seeks same in warm, loving, affectionate woman. I'm looking for the girl next door type that knows who she is, comfortable with herself, lives a healthy lifestyle and leans towards being a homer. (comfortable at home hanging out, cooking, kids activities, etc...)
My personality is pretty varied but the core values that define who I am are honesty (sometimes too much for some people), integrity, loyalty, and hard working. I expect a lot from both myself and the woman in my life. So yes the bar is high but so be it. For the few failed relationships in my life, especially post divorce, the women have said I’m a great guy.
So why the hell I’m I here, well life is busy and I’ve had a strong dedication to my daughter and renovating my home. So the time has come where things are starting to slow down and I can refocus on me. This means room for a wonderful woman who’s confident in herself, places high importance on family, knows what she wants, is willing to work to improve herself and those around her, and someone that I can feel comfortable with, especially being open and sharing anything. Don’t worry, you don’t have to be Wonder woman, she was only on TV. Lol
Are you still reading, good for you as I’ve probably lost a few by now… My interests, I have lots but don’t get around to them all now. I still hit the gym three times a week as I live a healthy life style. I play ice hockey off and on, the NHL never called me so I’ve given up on that dream. I’m going to get back into yoga in January. I would like to start reconnecting with the outdoors more, going for hikes, walks, day trips to parks etc In the summer I’ve really started to enjoy gardening, as it is soothing for the soul. My little girl already knows the names of lots of flowers. I like to encourage her in this area. Oh, rock climbing is something I would like to start pursuing as well.
Hmm, other less physical interests would be cooking, some reading (but mostly pop-up books), listening to music as it always seems to be around me. I love a good movie, especially someone to spoon with. Did I mention kissing, no well I’m am a physical person so pucker up! I like to have fun so hopefully some of that will be coming through this verbal rambling.
So there’s a start. If you think you’ve liked what you heard and might have some sense of who I might be then don’t be shy. Tell me about yourself and we can take it from there. I’m open to anything right now but ultimately I’m looking for something long term and real.
