I Would Describe Myself As Genuinely very happy and easygoing. I am outgoing and enjoy life and everything it has to offer. I was born and raised in Southern California and have never grown tired of the climate or atmosphere. I love the outdoors, does not matter if it is the beach, desert, lake or mountains.... and if I cannot be out enjoying it, a place with a view will do. I have a great family and a large group of friends, and the best part of all -- two little girls who are my everything. Suddenly single at 46, I never thought I would be in the position to experience this online dating world, but figure it is worth a try. I am not one to hang out at bars or clubs, unless with a group of friends, so realistically it is hard to meet anyone of quality without a little help. I love to run, hike, walk, bike, roller-blade, and on the other extreme love to curl up and watch a good movie with someone special. Board games and reading on a rainy or cold day/night by the fire are a favorite as well. I love to cook and relax with friends. I am confident in my own skin and mix well with others. I hope to find someone who shares the moral foundation of truth and honesty, someone who is outgoing, affectionate, spontaneous, who is happy with themselves, and loves to laugh. I enjoy being casual and dressing up. I enjoy a wide range of activities -- from casual picnics to nice restaurants, tough work outs to relaxing strolls on the beach. I love good coffee, wine/champagne, but on a hot summer day, if in the proper setting a Mojito is my relaxing drink of choice (otherwise iced tea will do!). My favorite food is sushi. Oysters on the half-shell with a side of warm bread and butter is a close second. Mexican, Thai and Italian are right behind. I love mini-getaways -- Napa, Palm Desert/Springs, Lake Arrowhead (and/or any location along the Coast really!). Long vacations are incredible, but pretty unrealistic at this time in my life with work and children.
