Jeg beskriver mig selv som I have MANY likes, passions and interests - listening to or playing music in my "spare" time or looking through a lens at nature. My camera is always near and I see photos everywhere - do you see what I see? My musical tastes range from jazz, classical, Irish folk or world ethnic. I enjoy live performances of all types. I play several instruments and enjoy exploring new music. I'm an avid reader and enjoy discussing new ideas with friends. I spent over 20 years as a licensed Contractor and consultant. I relocated from DC in 2009 to be nearer to my two grandchildren -- it's been great for all of us. I have jeans and tuxedo and I'm at home in either. Meeting new people with many and varied interests is enjoyable to me. I'm considered to have a VERY GOOD sense of humor and I'm often accused by my friends of turning too many puns. I can't help myself--(pun)ishment is it's own reward. My brain appears to be wired to see the absurd first and then the logical, even though I worked in a highly left brain occupation. Sharing travel (I have an active passport), the splendor of the outdoors, a fireplace, live jazz, theatre, symphony, a soft moment, candle light, a slow dance and a quiet dinner with someone special are high on my list of priorities, but then too are peaceful moments of solitude, laughter and silliness. I enjoy cooking and eating well. I've been told that my kitchen skills are very good -- I can cook and cleanup after myself too.

Min forestilling om hvad der er sjovt er I enjoy photography, music -- jazz clubs, classical concerts, opera, theatre and folk music. I have an inactive private pilot license and enjoy aviation on all levels -- if there is an air show, I'm the kid in the front with a big grin and a camera.

Hvad leder du efter? The ideal person in my life is self assured, witty and has a sense of adventure -- she is a special Someone who likes to laugh and is content with herself. She enjoys sharing and receiving, without being needy or clinging and above all -- she likes herself. She is able to see and live life from a spiritual perspective. I honor and respect all religions and my match does the same. I would enjoy hearing from anyone who would like to share and try new adventures - whether they be travel, the arts, food or anything else the universe can serve up. My ideal match can be summed in three words -- "interested in life." Learning and doing are second nature -- I can't imagine not doing either. I find intellect as sensual as physical attributes and my "match" is extremely sensual. My "match" is someone who knows that she is in charge of her life, but doesn't mind allowing me to be there for her. She chooses to share that life with people who are aware, awake and alive. A ready smile and a gentle presence are part of her personality. She wants to know about life and all it encompasses. She is interested in herself and all those around her. She gives as easily as she receives. My match is as comfortable dressed in jeans and walking in the woods as she is attending a gala, dressed in her finest. Friends and family are important and she makes time for both -- knowing that relationships are not 50/50, they are 100/100 and she makes the appropriate time to further the relationships in her life. My match enjoys being alone with me but she is also comfortable spending an afternoon or evening with her friends. She knows that it is important to have her own interests and pursuits and she is willing to share those with all who are interested. She knows that "health" means the soundness of body, mind, and spirit and understands that touching and hugs are required for good mental and physical health and she enjoys being VERY healthy -- mentally and physically.
