- Ich würde mich selbst beschreiben als So the little note below the box where I am now typing says to describe myself as I really am and asks what sets me apart from the crowd. Lol ... I feel like I'm in a job interview. Well, here goes ... I am a mom of a totally awesome 17 year old son; I am a high school teacher; and, all of my friends tell me I smile and laugh a lot. I love both of my jobs, mom and teacher (well, the teacher part most days anyway, lol). I like reading, fishing, shopping, traveling, spending time with friends and family, 80s music, and cooking and planning parties when I have the opportunity. I have close relationships with my son and my family and my friends, and all of those relationships are very important to me. Education is something else that is very important to me and that I am very passionate about. Helping my students to see the value in education and that school can be more than just lectures and book work is something I work very hard at, and am good at. I am loyal and I highly value home and family, and I don't like games or pretense. I guess that's about it for now. :)
