Basis Information Erzähl uns ein wenig von dir.

Ich würde mich selbst beschreiben als I'm a free spirit who is grounded by love. Despite all the ups and downs of my life, I find myself oftentimes thinking about just how awesome my life has been. I guess the reason why I feel this way is simply that I have a very loving family. I'm well loved. And I have lots of family that I love. I mean, what could be better? Isn't life all about the love you share with others?

I don't tend to dislike people. I try not to hate. This includes the hatred of other ideas and people. I believe in keeping the peace. Not only the peace of the world, but the peace that resides within. That said, i try to respect and learn about other cultures. If we can learn from each other instead of being fearful of the unknown, we all could grow from those differences.

I don't like war. That doesn't mean that I have the need to pick apart the people who have devoted their lives to fighting for their country. It just means that I want them to come home. I want them to come home and live.

For fun i enjoy going to concerts. I have teenagers so we sometimes all go together. When i was younger i went to probably thirty or so Grateful Dead shows. (I don't recall the exact number for obvious reasons.) I still enjoy seeing Bobby or Phil Lesh play. I have passed on my love for jam bands to my daughter.

When the mood smacks me across the face, I write poetry. Sometimes it's the only vice i have to let go of my anger and thus, most of my poems deal with that issue. On the upside, because I have this outlet (which is extremely extremely therapeutic), I don't need to take any pharmaceuticals to balance my soul out.

I am highly intuitive and empathic. Sometimes I can feel the pain of a stranger as they walk by and it hits me in the stomach like a punch. I have no idea how or why this happens. I wish it didn't.

My family is just the best. I have two loving psychologist parents and two brilliant teenagers. My children have been the center of my universe since I was 19. Sometimes it's hard for me to believe that I was only a year and a half older than my son when I had him. I would never trade that experience of being a young mom for the world.

I'm very artistic and creative. I'm low maintenance for the most part. I don't wear much makeup. I sometimes let my hair air dry. I leave my nails unpainted. If you're interested in a Barbie, I'm definitely not for you.
