Having said that, I would love to find someone to walk hand in hand with while we explore this world. I have been on here far too long, and am wondering if there is really one out there who can appreciate that quote. It seems in the era of internet dating it has all become about the cyber "booty call" and that's a shame.

Let me tell you about me...I am a combination of an educated city girl with good ole fashioned blue collar country girl roots. I am comfortable dressed up at the theater or dressed in my blue jeans walking hand in hand down to the pond to fish. I love live music from jazz, classic rock to country. I love to cook but only if I have someone to cook for. I like to get out and explore my world around me but I love the comfort and safety of curling up at home next to someone special and just hanging out. I will spend hours wandering an art museum in appreciation and then head to the bowling alley for a couple of quick games. I am a smart ass with a big heart and tender soul. I am almost always polite and ready with a smile and a laugh. I am a quick kiss and a smack on the back side before I spray you with the hose while we do the dishes. I am woman, with a big heart full of love and support, ready to give to that man who wants the journey.

What I want out of life... I want to be in love like a country song, romanced like a chick flick and to laugh like a comedy special. I want the man who will hold me when I'm sad, and knows when to just sit back and let me vent when my irish temper has finally had enough. A man smart enough to know that as soon as I'm finished..it's all about making up. I want to know that at the end of the day, there is someone out there that cares enough to know where I am, and that I'm safe and happy...as I do him.

What I am looking for... is a man who is comfortable in his own skin, he's confident but not arrogant, strong but not cruel, and knows what it means to walk hand in hand in this world with a partner. We may share a lot of common interests already or we may learn to appreciate each others hobbies...as long as we are together. I don't care what he does, as long as he likes it, he's good at it, and he has the same good ole fashioned hard working ethics that I do. I appreciate honesty, chivalry, and a romantic soul. I don't care how much you make, what toys you've bought, or where you live. I care more about how we treat each other and what life we can build together. I don't care if you are as educated as me, as long as we can speak the same language and communicate well with each other. I don't care how much hair you have or don't have. I don't care what color your eyes are as long as they are kind and aren't afraid to show me how much you care.
